- About me
- I work as a Stage Manager for the Brussels Philharmonic. Setting up the instruments, the score stands, seats, attribs for the woodwinds and brass and so on. I am also responsible for arranging the set up-changes during the concerts. A heck of lot to do .... but, I am around musicians all day long and that's so much fun. Even if they play classical music of al sorts, I will always keep in mind that every music, even today's Heep-sound, is coming forth from the music that was made more then 100 years ago...
only, Heep sounds a lot better ;-)

Remembering Herluf Hermansen

I remember this nice young man, who came up to me in Spain, talking to me about our mutual interest in drumming. He loved my style and I loved his style. He comes to my mind every now and then. It was the first time he and I met, but we had a bond. I admired him for his strenght to keep on fighting and keep on making music, that's what a good musician does. Herluf, you rock my friend.

Hello Staf, nice to meet again as we did in Spain and I am glad that we are now also 'friends' although for me, we have been friends,since the day we met in Spain. Wishing you a Prosperous New Year and hope that we meet again, someday. Regards. Joe.

Yeah you really had slim legs those days, working seriously with the
great idea to use them as drum sticks if I remember correct :-)))))))
Or maybe it was the Spanish light playing tricks on me.... or too much
cold drinks..... I'm not sure anymore :-)))

inderdaad opvallend dat er geen Nederlanders waren. Ik zelf kon helaas niet i.v.m. mijn werk. Waarschijnlijk hebben we ze met de sHeepmarkets teveel verwend. En daarbij is UH natuurlijk dit jaar vaak in Nederland met daarbij altijd wel een meet en greet of zoals in november met een Lady in Black contest
